What does the orientation of the paper embosser mean?

The orientation of your embosser refers to the direction from which you plan to stamp your material from, and lets us know how we should assemble your embosser to ensure it's suitable for your intended purpose and your impression appears the right way up. Once assembled, the orientaion cannot be changed.

[note: if you'll only be embosing onto small items like a sticker or business card, the orientation doesn't matter - it's when you're embossing larger items that it's important to choose correctly].

To choose the right orientation, think about how you’ll use your embosser, the size of your materials and where you want the impression to be.
Here's your options, and some examples of when you would choose them:

BOTTOM OF PAGE: the most common orientation! This is goof for making an impression on the flap of an envelope or the bottom of a print or document.

TOP OF PAGE: will create impressions at the top your material. This option is good for embossing the top of an A4 document or a print.
RIGHT OF PAGE: will deliver impressions from the right side of paper. An example of when you would choose this would be for embossing the pages of a book.
LEFT OF PAGE: used to create impressions on the left side of paper. An example of when you would choose this would be for embossing the left side of a booklet or document.
