How do I refill the ink pad in my self-inking stamp?

The ink pads in our self-inking stamps are easily removed to refill. You'll know it's time to top up your ink when your stamp consistently prints lighter.

To top up the ink pad: 

  1. Depress the handle of the stamp, and press the green button to lock it into place.
  2. Flip the stamp over and pull out the pad using the black tab.
  3. Add several drops of Shiny Stamp Ink [in the original colour of your stamp] to the pad, and let it rest for a little while so the ink is soaked up by the pad.
  4. Insert the ink pad back into your stamp.
  5. Test the stamp. If you need more ink, repeat steps 1-4. We recommend topping up ink gradually, to avoid over-inking].
